Gerard Way is Love.

JESS I STILL TASTE YOU, THUS RESERVE MY RIGHT TO HATE YOU. AND ALL THIS E M PT Y SPACE THAT YOU CREATE DOES NOTHING FOR MY FLAWLESS SENSE OF STYLE

Look up, and what do you see?
All of you and all of me,
flourescent and starry,
some of them, they surprise.

Bus ride. I went to righ this,
4 a.m, this letter.
Fields of poppies, little pearls.
All the boys and all the girls-
sweet toothed and every one a little scary.
I said your name.

I wore it like a badge of teenage film stars,
hash bars, cherry mash and tin foil tiaras.
Dreaming of Maria Callas, whoever she is.
This fame thing, I don't get it.

I wrapped my hand in plastic to try to look through it,
maybelline eyes and girl-as-boy moves.
I can take you far.
This star thing, I don't get it.

I'll take you over... I'll take you there...

Aluminum, it tastes like fear
Adrenaline, it pulls us near

Will you live to 83?
Will you ever welcome me?
Will you show me something that nobody else has seen?
Smoke it, drink.

Here comes the flood,
anything to thing the blood.
These corrosives do their magic slowly, and sweet.
Phone, eat it, drink.

Just another chink,
cuts and dents they catch the light
Aluminum, the weakest link.

I don't want to disapoint you,
I'm not hear to anoint you.
I would lick your feet but is that the sickest move?
I wear my own crown, and sadness, and sorrow,
and who'd of thought tomorrow could be so strange?
My loss, and here we go again...

I'll take you over... I'll take you there...

Aluminum, it tastes like fear
Adrenaline, it pulls us near
It tastes like fear, it pulls us near.

Look up, what do you see?
All of you and all of me,
flourescent and starry,
some of them, they surprise.

I can't look it in the eyes,
seconal, spanish fly, absinthe, kerosene, cherry-flavored neck and collar.
I can smell the sorrow on your breath.
The sweat, victory, and sorrow.
This smell thing... I got it.

I'll take you over... I'll take you there...

Aluminum, it tastes like fear
Adrenaline, it pulls us near
It tastes like fear, it pulls us near
It tastes like fear, it pulls us near

-E-Bow the Letter, REM

This night walk the dead
in a solitary style and crash the cemetery gates
in the dress your husband hates
way down mark the grave
where the searchlights find us drinking
by the mausoleum door
and they found you on the bathroom floor...

i miss you
i miss you so far
and the collison of your kiss
that made it so hard

back home off the run
singing songs that make you slit your wrists
it isnt that much fun staring down a loaded gun
so i won't stop dying, won't stop lying
if you want i'll keep on crying
did you get what you deserve?
is that what you always want me for?

i miss you
i miss you so far
and the collision of your kiss
that made it so hard

way down... way down...
way down... way down...
way down... way down...
way down.... way down...

i miss you
i miss you so far
and the collision of your kiss
that made it so hard
i miss you
i miss you so far
and the collision of your kiss
that made it so hard
made it so hard

way down... way down...
way down... way down...
way down... way down...
way down... way down...
way down...

-Cemetery Drive, My Chemical Romance

we sent out the SOS call
it was a quarter past four in the morning
when the storm broke our second anchor line
four months at sea, four mounths of calm seas
only to be pounded in the shallows
off the tip of Montauk Point

they call them rogues, the travel fast and alone
one hundred foot faces of god's good ocean gone wrong
what they call love is a risk,
cause you will always get hit out of nowhere
by some wave and end up on your own

the hole in the hull defied the crews attempts
to bail us out
and flooded the engines and radio
and half burried bow

your tongue is a rudder, it steers the whole ship
sends your words past your lips
or keeps them safe behind your teeth
but the wrong words will strand you
come off-course while you sleep
sweep your boat out to sea
or dashed it to bits on the reef

the vessel groans,
the ocean pressures it's frame
off the port i see the light house
through the sleet and the rain
and i wish for one more day to give my love and repay debts
but the morning finds our bodies washed up thirty miles west

they say that the captain stays fast with the ship
through still and storm
but this ain't the dakota and the water is cold
we won't have to fight for long

this is the end
this story's old but it goes on and on
until we disapear
calm me and let me taste
the salt you breathed while you were underneath
i am the one who haunts your dreams
of mountains sunk below the sea...
i spoke the words but never
gave a thought to what they all could mean
i know that this is what you want…
a funeral keeps both of us apart…
you know that you are not alone
i need you like water in my lungs… this is the end

-Play Crack the Sky, Brand New

bows and flows of angel hair
and ice cream castles in the air
and feather canyons everywhere
i've looked at clouds that way

but now they only block the sun
they rain and snow on everyone
so many things i would have done
but clouds got in my way

i've looked at clouds from both sides now
from up and down and still somehow
it's clouds' illusion i recall
i really don't know clouds at all

moons and junes an ferris wheels
the dizzy dancing way you feel
as every fairy tale comes real
i've looked at love that way

but now it's just another show
you leave 'em laughing when you go
and if you care, don't let them know
don't give yourself away

i've looked at love from both sides now
from give and take and still somehow
it's love's illusions i recall
i really don't know love at all

tears and fears and feeling proud
to say i love you right out loud
dreams and schemes and circus crowds
i've looked at life that way

but now old friends are acting strange
they shake theird heads, they say i've changed
well somethings lost, but somethings gained
from living everyday

i've looked at life from both sides now
from win and lose and still somehow
it's life's illusions i recall
i really don't know life at all

i've looked at life from both sides now
and up and down and still somehow
it's life's illusions i recall
i really don't know life at all

-Both Sides Now, Joni Mitchell

I heard there was a secret chord
that David played and it pleased the Lord
but you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
the minor fall and the major lift,
the baffled king composing "hallelujah"

Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
you saw her bathing on the roof,
her beauty in the moonlight over threw you
She tied you to her kitchen chair,
she broke your throne and she cut your hair
and from your lips she drew the hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah

Well baby I've been here before,
I've seen this room and I've walked this floor
You know, I used to live alone before I knew you
And I've seen your flag on the marble arch
and love is not a victory march
it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah

Well there was a time when you let me know
what's really going on below
but now you never show that to me, do you?
But remember when I moved in you?
And the holy dove was moving too?
And every breath we drew was hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah

Maybe there is a god above
but all I ever learned from love
was how to shoot someone who outdrew you
And it's not a cry that you hear at night,
it's not somebody who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's broken hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah...
Hallelujah...
Hallelujah...
Hallelujah..
Hallelujah...
-Halleluah, Jeff Buckley
